Starchasers are creatures born from space! When atoms collide in the tails of comets, the lifeblood of a starchaser is created, before falling to the planet they will call their home!Starchasers are a part of the Maskimps ARPG! Learn more about that on our main site:
Where they came from..
Starchasers are small creatures said to have come down from Space. Their hearts are made of crystal, often placed directly on their chest in the form of a star-shaped gem. They have magical abilities that allow them to conjure stars and stardust around them, and some have been found with the hidden ability to float, or levitate a few feet off the ground.Do they get along with others?
Starchasers live alongside Maskimps and Boojum, all having societies that remain neutral towards another. They will often barter and trade with Starchasers for items that can only be obtained via the skies. It's not uncommon to find winged Imps or Boojum visiting the skies! Let's hope they can walk on clouds..!
Up in the clouds..!
Starchasers are fairy-like, most living within the lush world of clouds overhead. Their lightweight bones and bodies allow them to easily walk across the skies, turning the once unruled above into their homes!
They often have homes built within the fickle skies, using magic to build and construct locations, homes, and more, allowing them to turn the skies into permanent towns and settlements. These can be small, and have individual homes, or massive; containing small towns, massive cities, to even farms, etc.
Their homes can be found scattered sporadically throughout the world, but their homes blend seamlessly into the clouds, making them hard to spot.
Who came first..?
Contrary to popular belief, Starchasers have lived in the clouds longer than Maskimps had built towns below them. Before Maskimps made their appearance on the surface, Starchasers had been living in their cloud cities in the atmosphere, not having any real reason to travel down to the ground level as it was known to all how dangerous the still-wild lands could be.
Once Maskimps had begun cultivating the land and building cities did the Starchasers feel comfortable leaving their homes in the clouds to explore the growing communities below them. It is said that Starchasers helped build and develop many of the Maskimps' capitol cities as a way to form a strong alliance between the two species, the first of these towns now left in ruin deep within the overgrown lush of the lands after being abandoned hundreds of years ago.
🌼Spring 🌈
Spring has Sprung!
Springtime in the clouds looks a little different! As odd as it may seem, trees are not uncommon to spot on the clouds, and they bear some rare, yet interesting fruits that can be used for a variety of recipes or just eaten as snacks!

Eclipse Berry
Eclipse berries take a month to ripen, their skin changing to reflect the current moon stage during their growth. They taste their best during the waxing phase, and can be eaten whole.
